Stops your bike, not your flow
Many people brake too timidly, or they don’t use the front brake because they’re afraid of falling. The new Bosch eBike ABS now lets you brake more safely and confidently with both brakes at the same time. It counteracts a locking or skidding front wheel. So you stay safely even during spontaneous braking – regardless of whether you are on solid asphalt, gravel roads or forest trails. Because every eBike is different, there is not one ABS for all, but the right ABS for your eBike type – so it supports your braking process in an optimal way.

Anti-lock braking system The ABS on the front wheel increases riding stability and steerability in critical braking situations and can thus prevent the front wheel from skidding. Sensors measure wheel speed and regulate brake pressure – for efficient braking. |

Rear wheel lift control In the event of extreme overbraking of the front wheel, the intelligent Bosch eBike ABS rear wheel lift control reduces the possibility of unwanted lifting of your rear wheel. The likelihood of being ejected over the handlebar is reduced. The front brake can be used more actively and efficiently and the rear wheel remains earthbound. |
